*No Horse Play* - Camp Doll Diaries

With Molly, Cecile and Kit back at home, mini Saige and Nicki have been keeping close to the horse stables after they got word a mare was soon to give birth! 

 They had paid great detail in caring for the stable, ensuring it was warm with plenty of hay and water.

Over the past few days they had noticed that the mare refused to eat apples or see anyone.

"It's time!" Said the veterinarian.

The dolls raced to the stable where the mare struggled, huffing and whining. 

Then suddenly the foal was free. 

Both Saige and Nicki had been around many horses before, they knew better than to interfere during the first few moments after the birth. Mare and foal needed to bond.

 

All at once the mare stood, exhausted, but encouraged her newborn to do the same. The foal was shaky.....

but soon stood on it's own and began to nurse.

 

 Saige and Nicki hugged each other with tears in their eyes as they watched this small miracle.

And that's what they named the new foal - "Miracle".

HTM Amphitheater *Requested*

Thanks to everyone who submitted tutorial request. 

GREAT IDEAS!

It is my goal both personally and as your friend to keep these tutorials as SIMPLE as possible. I don't like any thing that's too difficult or too long to complete. It needs to be interesting and FUN!

I am going to start off with a request from Jan. She saw the Talent Show Nicki and Saige were part of and she wants to know how EASY the Amphitheater is to make.

Supplies:

• cardboard, poster board or foam board
• Scrapbook paper in your choice of color/print
• glue stick
• scissors
• hot glue (low temp)

Directions: Using glue stick, apply enough to make sure you paper is secure to your board; smoothing out any wrinkles or bubbles. 

Make signs for your occasion by cutting out bunting from contrasting paper then writing your event or the name of your amphitheater on each triangle. Hot glue using a low temp glue gun onto twine, ribbon or cording (even shoelaces).

I cut out the American Girl logo from a small store bag to make my AG sign. You can also use AG stickers from Michael's if you so choose.

For your "staging" area, simply lay down scrapbook paper in natural print like pebbles, wood flooring or grass. You can even make a checker board floor - it's entirely up to you how you want your amphitheater to look.

Finally "fill in" and decorate the side of your stage with props. Select props to go along with your theme. I used small plants, but you can use flags, trees, or potted plants/greenery.

*Little Miss Victory* - Camp Doll Diaries

Molly arrived at Camp Doll Diaries with both Kit and Cecile to help her. They were able to transport her stage to Camp (whew!). However Molly's glasses broke along the way. They were somehow able to save them (luckily).

Saige and Nicki were there to greet them all.

"Hi Cecile! Welcome to camp."

"Kit! I'm so happy to see you!"

 "Hi!" Molly said. 

"Hi yourself!" Nicki said hugging Molly. "It's so good to see you all! "

 "Sorry to hear about your bee stings." Molly said sympathetically.

 "Oh Molly! We've missed you so much." Saige hugged Molly. 

"I can't beleive you brought your stage! It's amazing!"

"I couldn't have without Kit and Cecile's help." Molly said. 

"It's time for the show to start! We will be in the front row, Good luck!" Nicki whispered.
