Plant a Tree - Camp Week 7

The dolls tagged along with Julie and Ivy on the trip to the Horticulture Center.

It's Plant a Tree day at camp. Saige and Isabelle found a small shrub to plant.

"That looks like a good spot right over there."

"We should have brought a shovel, my nails will be ruined." Isabelle said.

"Phew! Digging is HARD WORK!"

"What do you think?" Saige asked.

"I hope it lives through winter." Izzy sighed.

This is the last week of camp for the dolls.

Izzy & Saige - Happy 4th of July

The girls found a spot to enjoy a small BBQ.

*Isabelle & Saige* - Outdoor Explorers - Camp

The girls go exploring the camp to become familiar with the camp grounds.

They found First Aid.

"Nurse Katherine!"

 

"Hi girls!"

"I had no idea you were at Camp!" Saige said.

"Yes they called me to fill an opening." Katherine explained.

"Wow, your office is so clean!" Inspected Saige.

 

 "It looks like the clinic back home." Saige observed.

"It's so nice to see a couple of familiar faces." Katherine said.

 

"What happened to Nurse Sophie? She helped Nicki's bee stings last summer." Saige asked.

"She is working at a camp in New Jersey this summer." Katherine explained.

"We should let you get back to work." 

  "Yes Katherine. It was good to see you." Izzy said. "See you later."

"No girls, I hope to see you when you get back home. Be careful and stay out of First Aid this summer. Enjoy camp!" Katherine waved good bye.

Isabelle & Saige - First Day at Camp

 

Isabelle and Saige agree that they should leave the cabin now to set up their tent.

"Let's find a shady spot." Saige suggests.
"I'm right behind you." Replied Isabelle.

"Wow! Are those ALL of your clothes??" Saige exclaimed.

 

"Yes, I wasn't sure just what to bring." Isabelle said shyly.

"Well it is your first year at camp, but my pile is about half the size." Saige answered.

 

"This is really a good spot."

 

"Oh look a good spot to grill too."

"And an extra picnic table and trash can!" Isabelle said excited.
"Oh great! That's super convenient." Saige agreed.

 

"It's getting dark now, the crickets will be out soon."

"What name did you choose last year?" Isabelle asked.

"We were the Dragonflies." Said Saige.

"What name should we pick?" Asked Isabelle.
"I don't know, why don't you chose it?" Saige said.

"Look the stars!" Isabelle said excited. "I have never seen so many stars!"

"I'm really glad you're at camp with me this year Izzy." 
"Thank you, me too!"

"Shooting Stars!"
"Huh?" Saige asked.
"Our name SHOOTING STARS!!!!"

Isabelle & Saige Get Ready for Summer Camp

Isabelle and Saige are very excited to be going to camp. They are gathering all of their supplies.

• Dishware
• Sleeping bags
• Clothes
• Hats 
• Swim suits
• Towels
• Sunglasses
• Camera
• Tent

Saige surveys her clothing....

Isabelle gathers her clothing too.

"Do you have everything ready?"

"Yes, but I think I need another bag."

 "Nicki has another bag we can borrow."

"I have a Hello Kitty backpack."

"(ugh) I think we need to put something back! 

We don't have enough room."
