Reader Photos DIY Mini Lea Bahia Outfit

Here's my Mini Lea's Bahia outfit. It is my goal to make her entire collection at mini scale. The shirt is actually made of scraps from an old bathing suit. I decided to simplify the embroideries a bit, but unlike AG, MINE are actually embroidered. The shorts have a simple elastic waist, and the sandals I made from scraps of ribbon and felt. Hope you enjoy!

DIY Mini Rain Forest House - Lea

After a lot of work I finally finished my mini GOTY 2016 Lea Clark's Rain Forest House! Shelly's review of the full size version helped a lot as did American Girl website and the AG Wiki.

This project includes a LOT of buttons and beads.

I couldn't get the grill and lantern to actually light up, but both have shiny orange beads inside to catch the light.

The window scene is reversible so I don't need to find a place for the scene I'm not using, and the fish is attached to the fryer.

This was a very fun project!

Reader Photos Greetings from Montreal

I was making a trip to Montreal (business) and wanted to bring some dolls. Analise from Lori and mini-Felicity decided they would like to come along.

This was a great chance to see if the girls could share clothes, so they both changed into the "Wonderfully Warm" and "I Spot You" outfits from Lori, and...TaDa! They can share clothes! Both girls were very glad for the warm clothes as it is mighty cold up here. Felicity seems just a wee bit shorter than Analise.
