How to Make - Mini Doll Kiddie Pool

Make an above ground kiddie pool for your 4" - 6" mini dolls

Using an emptied shallow Swiffer container, tear off the wrapper and remove the lid. You can create an outdoor scene using props: mini grass, trees, bushes, chairs and picnic tables.

This makes a nice sized rectangular wading pool for summer fun and splashing good times. Use this with dolls like Kelly, Chelsea, OG mini dolls and the new Beforever mini dolls. Any doll with all vinyl bodies and rooted hair can get wet in this kiddie pool!

Chelsea Swimming Pool

Target has Chelsea Flippin Pup Pool. It's geared for pets, but two 4"-6" mini dolls can sit inside!

We also made our own swimming pool in case you want a DIY project.

HTM Water Filled Pool (For Dolls Up to 11" Fashion Size)

My full size dolls just scored a plastic pool!

But now my minis need a community pool.
The pool from last year is a bit small for my expanded doll collection to use.

See the step by step tutorial on Doll Diaries!

Make a Mini Pool Side Cabana

Whenever I make something for my full size dolls, I try to do the same for my minis. It's only fair right?

I wanted to make a Pool Side Cabana to use by the mini pool. You can see the pool tutorial on Doll Diaries.

Supplies:
Kleenex box
Craft sticks, large
Hot glue
Scissor
Fun print fabric
Greenery

Directions:
Cut the front off of the Kleenex box.

Hot glue sticks or dowels for supports.

Hot glue fabric inside the cabana in the back; then hot glue fabric on the sides wrapping towards the front leaving a small opening.

Finish off the top with fabric. Gather the curtains at the sides and tie back with ribbon, yarn or twine.

AG Minis - Silver Eye???

We have a swimming pool tutorial coming up and I have been asked repeatedly if mini dolls can get wet in water or not. Yes and no!

If you have an older version with acrylic eyes, don't get the eyes wet.

The water can loosen the glue holding the eye in place.

If you have newer version minis with painted faces GO FOR IT!

Rooted hair and painted faces are no problem - let them swim or take baths. I've even heard some people toss them into the washing machine!

How to Make - Mini Round Swimming Pool

"Hey it's my turn on the raft!"

We made the pool using a plastic bowl and scrapbook paper that looks like water.

The raft was made (cut to size) out of foam board. We hot glued neck/arm rests and cushioned it with a piece of yellow felt.
