HTM Sofa & Chairs *Requested*

Today we are going to make upholstered loveseat/sofa and chairs for your mini living room. This was requested by Once Upon A Doll Collection.

Supplies
  • card board, shipping boxes
  • sponges
  • fabric
  • scissors
  • hot glue
Instructions:
Cut your card board to the size you want your furniture.

1. Using hot glue upholster the two side pieces (arm rests) and the back rest in fabric, wrapping like a gift.
2. Hot glue a sponge to the top of the "seat", then upholster using the same method.
3. Hot glue the seat to one of the arm rests 2/3 of the way down. Then hot glue the other side. The bottom 1/3 will create "feet".

4. Hot glue back rest to both arm rests and the seat. You will have to work quickly so your glue doesn't dry too fast.
5. Secure a small piece of uncovered cardboard across the seat bottom under neath for added stability. Voila!

Repeat the same steps for a side chair or use the parson style tutorial then add arm rests.

HTM Doll Closet Room Box

Like many of you I am RUNNING OUT OF SPACE!
My life has been taken over by dolls. Because I have dolls in various sizes, I can not store them in the same places. I decided to make a room in a box where I can house my doll along with her clothing. Sounds
F A B U L O U S doesn't it?

Supplies:
  • Cardboard box your doll can stand in
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Glue - hot glue, craft glue
  • Stickers, embellishments
  • 1" - 2" wide ribbon
  • Dowel

I began by taping the ends of the box closed, then cut out a "door" on what it is to be the front.

Using scrapbook paper "wallpaper" the interior using glue. For added stability cut two pieces of black foam core and hot glue them to the floor and ceiling.
