*REVIEW* Madame Alexander 8" Mermaid Princess Wendy

Madame Alexander sent a second storybook doll for my review. You all know that I'm a Disney fan. Mermaid princess + Madame Alexander + mini doll = awesome for me.

Mermaid Princess comes straight from an underwater ball, wearing a magenta halter top with a gold tulle ruffle and gorgeous blue sequin tail skirt with a pink sparkly tulle ‘tail’ along the bottom. Her curly red hair is adorned with a pink flower headband and she wears pink shoes. She features Madame Alexander's classic 8” Wendy sculpt and has an articulated, poseable body.

First can we talk about the ringlets? Her hair is just as a mermaids hair should be and her headpiece is firmly attached.

The tulle details on her bodice and for the mermaid fin are absolutely darling!

She has green sleep eyes with real lashes and lower painted lashes. Rosey cheeks for a sweet complexion. I adore the Madame Alexander storybook dolls. They are not to be shelved, but are to be played with, posed for photos and can be great doll friends for your 18" dolls.

*REVIEW* Madame Alexander 8" 1001 Nights Wendy

Madame Alexander sent this beautiful doll for my review. And....I love her!

From the dunes of Arabia, comes 1001 Nights Wendy, ready to tell enchanting tales. She wears a purple and gold cropped top with capped sleeves and flowing harem pants with purple shorts underneath. Her dark hair is down and curled and she wears a gold lace head piece and gold shoes. She features Madame Alexander's classic 8” Wendy sculpt and has an articulated, poseable body.

How gorgeous are her ringlets? The face paint is so pretty, yet innocent.

I love her purple and gold 2-piece costume, the gold metallic trim and head piece add an extra touch of "special". As Madame always said, It's all about the details!

The headpiece is stitched around the wig and is very stable, there's no need for concern that it will fall off during photos or during playtime.

She and Aladdin look to be right at home and ready for a magic carpet ride. The 8" Wendy dolls are the perfect size doll for your mini size doll rooms and houses. They also make great companion dolls for your 18" dolls.

Old Fashion Ice Cream

It's still warm here in Texas - in the upper 90's. Ice cream is a great treat to share with a great friend! It helps to dress fancy too!

*REVIEW* Madame Alexander 13" Renoir Doll

My Madame Alexander Renoir doll is 13" tall with long blond hair and blue sleep eyes, real lashes. She wears a pink multi-tiered lace dress, tights, bloomers, and velvet ankle boots.

The clothing is very well made with snap closures.

Her long hair is rooted.

Wide brimmed pink bonnet with flowers and large bow finish the ensemble. Her neck is stamped Alexander 1966, but the Renoir dolls were made from 1972 to 1986.

She is 17" tall, fully jointed, and made from vinyl. She has sleep eyes with lashes, beautiful facial coloring, closed mouth, and red rooted hair still in the original set.

Dressed in a tagged tutu with pleated pink tulle skirt, pantyhose, and pink tie ballet slippers. On her head she wears a floral headpiece with rosebuds, and around her neck, a black velvet choker.

*Review* Madame Alexander Pirouette in Pink - 2016 Time for Center Stage Ballerina

Madame Alexander Doll Company sent this sweet ballerina for me to review!

8-inch Wendy ballerina wears a sparkly pink leotard, glittery pink tulle tutu and tights. A shiny rhinestone delicately accessorizes her leotard, while her pink ballet slippers are laced up and ready for the perfect pirouette.

Her brown sleep eyes have real top lashes.

Wendy is articulated! You can pose her in multiple ballet positions.

Wendy’s brown hair is wrapped in a bun and tied with a pink ribbon.

I adore Wendy!
Thank you Madame Alexander Doll Company!

*On Location* Madame Alexander Doll Club Premier in Fort Lee, NJ.

Both photos are from the Friday breakfast event called Breakfast at Tiffany's.  The doll with the dining area behind her is the centerpiece doll.  The other doll is the souvenir doll.

All participants received an undressed doll at registration.  We had no idea why.  At the breakfast event were three Tiffany-like boxes.  Inside one was a dress; inside the other were stockings; inside the third were shoes.  We also received a purse and sunglasses.  Voila!  We could dress our doll for breakfast at Tiffany's.

I had so much fun!  I am already looking forward to the convention which will be A Walk In the Garden.
