HTM - Fashion Doll Chairs

This will work for 11" fashion dolls.

Sketch the shape onto a paper towel tube, then cut it out. The chairs are about 4 inches tall, but you should size them according to your doll. Trace around the chair shape to make a template for all the other chairs.

Create disks out of cardboard for seats and hot glue them into the top opening. Cover extra cut  disks of board in fabric.

You may decide to paint the chairs or cover them in scrapbook or contact paper.

How to Make - Round Mini BBQ Grill

We already showed you how to make a picnic table

Now it's time to make a BBQ grill for mini dolls 4" - 6" tall.

  • Plastic egg
  • Paint
  • 4 beads
  • Paper clip
  • 8 toothpicks
  • Hot glue
Cut the sharp tips off of the toothpicks. Hot glue beads onto the bottom of the egg, insert and glue the toothpicks inside.

Glue three toothpick pieces to the legs of the grill for more support.

Glue a bead to the top next to the small hole in the egg. Thread the paper clip through the hole in the lid and the bead to form a loop handle.

Flatten the edges of toothpicks and begin gluing to form grill grates. Paint the egg and toothpicks.

Don't forget to make food.

  • Toothpicks
  • Beads
  • Hot Glue

Or cut out circles of brown craft foam and make grill marks by using a thin sharpie to make burgers.

Make Easy Mini Binoculars- Camp Doll Diaries

It's easy to make mini binoculars for your Barbie's, AG minis, Monster High or any mini/middie size dolls.

Last summer mini Saige and Nicki went to Camp Doll Diaries.
Here are the binoculars they used.

Make your own!!!

  • Drinking straw
  • Toothpick
  • Hot glue
  • Craft paint

Cut two small pieces of the straw to scale for your particular doll's size.

Cut two flat ended pieces of the toothpick 2/3 the size of the straws.

Glue a toothpick to the side of each straw, then glue the toothpicks together. Paint any color you like.

Glue a piece of thin ribbon or cording for a strap, making sure to measure for correct length around your doll's neck.

*Dance Class*

Isabelle called Saige to rush over to the Ballet studio.

She was teaching a class and wanted Saige to meet the new minis.

"OK class get into third position."

*GASP* "They're so cute!!" Saige exclaimed.

"Thanks! I snuck them out of the house away from Julie and Ivy." Isabelle said. "Look her hair has pink streaks too. Go ahead Izzy show Saige you're hair."

"Oh how adorable. I love it!!' Said Saige.

"I have pink streak in my hair too!" Giggled mini Izzy.

"Oh Isabelle, she is so cute. Can I keep her?"

"Uh...well..I don't know. Maybe you can babysit once in a while."

"Alright." Saige sighed. "Are you bringing them to Summer Camp?"

"No. I'm afraid they would get lost." Isabelle answered concerned.

"Come on girls back to your positions!"
