YIKES!
This poor girl had a major accident. I bought her for .95c with a split in her face. Obviously the previous owner didn't soften the vinyl prior to removing her head from the body.
These vintage dolls are known for getting green ear, luckily mine didn't.
Doll restoration for a split can be $30+. I've decided to have her restored. Stay close for updates.
I would be very interesting in seeing how the split is repaired!

DeleteRight, I have no clue and the "hospital" hasn't explained how it's done. I'll have to investigate.
