*Kit Decorates the Tree House*

Samantha had asked Kit to decorate the tree house for the big 4th of July Parade Event. She also wanted her to be free that entire day for reporting duties. Of course Kit was excited at this important job!! Documenting the day's celebration for the Liberty Towne Tatler!! No fireworks allowed for safety reasons because the entire town was built of wood and could be easily and quickly destroyed if a fire should break out.

First she had to get the tree house done.

Luckily for her Molly had plenty of extra supplies!

"There that ought to do it!"

How to Make a Mini Tire Swing

Old fashioned tire swings provided hours of summer fun! Let's make our own for AG mini dolls.

Supplies:

Coffee mug
Pencil
Scissors
Black craft foam sheet - thick
Craft glue or hot glue
Twine or yarn

Directions:
Trace the bottom of the coffee mug onto the black foam sheet, make two, then cut them out.

Trace a smaller hole in the center, I used a small vitamin bottle. Cut out the center.

Glue the black foam sheets together, allow to dry.

Once dry, tie you string around the tire in 3 places, securing each with glue. Allow to dry.

Once dry, tie the string together at the top. Now hang it on the branch of a plant or small tree.

Ken's Bachelor Pad - Reveal

Progress has been S L O W on Ken's place. I feel terrible, my vintage Barbie's have been very ignored lately. With all of the AG Beforever news and the scurry to buy what's currently available, I've been pre-occupied with those projects.

My friend Shelly sent this really cool border paper for the walls; very retro, very masculine and the colors were exact to his color scheme. I have his place "set-up", but it still needs the little details.

Of course just like a BFF, we see that Alan is right at home visiting the small bachelor pad.

The amazing .99c leather chair Shelly found at Goodwill !!

I made all of the furniture except for Ken's nightstand.

Still needed: lamps, plants, books, wall art, etc.

*Decorating for the 4th*

Samantha has assigned decorating projects to everyone to help spruce up Snickerdoodle Street in time for the 4th.

Of course Kit will be reporting for the Liberty Tatler, but her first project is to decorate the treehouse.

Samantha calls Molly and Emily over to discuss plans.

"Hi dolls! Thank you for coming over.  Molly since you're the town event planner I wanted to hear what you have set up for the 4th of July."

"We have gone over our list and decided to have Dairy Queen cater the event," Emily explains.

"Yes and we will decorate the gazebo as a central meeting spot." Molly continued.

"Oh that sounds wonderful! And what of the parade?" Samantha asked.

"Yes! I am putting Nicki in charge of that. She has been a little sad since Saige left for camp and this will keep her busy."  Molly added.

"Wonderful plans dolls! I will let the Mayor know when I meet with her later this week." Samantha said.
