HTM Mini Barn *Requested*

Abby requested a tutorial on HTM a barn for horses and other livestock. This is such a great request and just in time. Here's the barn from Camp.

Supplies:
  • Large flat rate shipping box
  • Moss, miscellaneous greenery, small rocks/pebbles
  • School glue
  • Pony beads
  • Scrapbook paper or contact paper - wood print
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors
  • Paint
Instructions:
  1. Tape the bottom of your box closed with packaging tape.
  2. Cut the top and bottom flaps off, leaving the two sides flaps attached - these will be barn doors.
  3. Paint or glue wood print scrapbook paper to the inside of your box.
  4. Paint of cover the exterior of the box in wood paper. *Note if you use contact paper seal the edge with hot glue to secure.
  5. *Advanced - hot glue Popsicle sticks to the exterior of the box for a 3D wood appearance - paint or leave natural.
  6. Hot glue a bead to both doors for handles.
  7. *Advanced - cut four Popsicle sticks in half then hot glue stacked (two each side) for panel; glue bead onto center.
  8. Add moss and greenery inside to soften the interior floor.

Now your ready to bring your animals inside for shelter.

*Extra: To make a trough cut the bottom of a rectangle food box (cookies or crackers), paint the inside blue (water) the exterior brown. Opt to trim the bottom sides in Popsicle stick for added stability.

Print if you want to add more horses to your background.
